Snooze

Originating as the creative vehicle for France's Dominique Dalcan, Snooze fuses abstract beats with an affinity for cinematic orchestration to form atmospheric vignettes shaped by post-trip-hop and post-jungle sensibilities. In addition to his roles as producer and composer, Dalcan performs as a multi-instrumentalist and singer, delivering French chart hits both under his own name and via Snooze. The Man in the Shadow, his first album under the Snooze moniker, appeared initially in the U.S. in 1997 before receiving a reissue the next year.
