Biography

In 1993, Canadian rapper Snow delivered one of the year's standout successes via the track "The Informer." The patois-laced single climbed the pop and R&B charts despite requiring a lyric translation sheet for anyone outside the circle of hardcore reggae fans to follow its words. Snow's album 12 Inches of Snow likewise performed strongly, as its follow-up release "Girl I've Been Hurt" also reached hit status.
