Terror Fabulous

Terror Fabulous stood out among the reggae DJs who gained recognition in the first half of the 1990s. Frequently likened to Buju Banton, he put out multiple projects throughout that ten-year span, among them the albums Terror Fabulous, Lyrically Rough, and Gwaney Gwaney. Yet his most prominent work continues to be the 1994 effort Yaga Yaga, which marked his sole outing on a major record company, East West. Dave Kelly handled production duties for this release, which included hits such as "Gangster's Anthem" along with contributions from various performers like Maxi Priest, who appeared on "Miss Goody Goody," as well as Wayne Wonder, Daddy Screw, Nadine Sutherland, Brian Gold, Tony Gold, and Gary Minott. Beyond his solo catalog, Terror Fabulous lent his talents to tracks by other acts, such as En Vogue's Runaway Love, Luciano's Where There Is Life, and Third World's Reggae Ambassadors: 20th Anniversary Collection, though his visibility diminished considerably as the new millennium approached.
