Solitary Dancer

Montreal-based producer Adam Hodgins earns his main recognition through swinging deep house and dubby techno released as Iron Galaxy, yet he delves into lonely, late-night electro in his capacity as one half of the Solitary Dancer duo. The project made its entrance in 2016 via a self-titled EP issued on Midland’s Graded label. Dualism appeared on Dark Entries shortly afterward, arriving in early 2017. That EP brought vocals into the Solitary Dancer aesthetic, among them a guest turn by Marie Davidson on the track “Emails 2 Myself.”
