Biography
Hailing from New York, the five-piece collective known as Soundsci brings together revivalists steeped in 1990s hip-hop through a supergroup configuration that unites MCs Audessey of MassInfluence, U-George from Hemisphere, and Oxygen with Sputnik Brown, joined by producers Jonny Cuba of Dynamic Syncopation and Ollie Teeba from the Herbaliser. Their opening EP, Dig for Victory, received Underground Album of the Year honors from The Source during 2009, setting the stage for the subsequent full-length release Soundsational that surfaced in the summer of 2013.
