Biography
Keyboard player and vocalist John Morgan, an admirer of Graham Bond, moved into psychedelia toward the end of the 1960s. Initially presented as The Spirit of John Morgan, the group earned enough recognition to secure dates at the Marquee and other leading venues, which led to the making of three albums. The self-titled debut arrived in 1969; two further LPs followed on the Carnaby label in 1970 and 1972, both issued simply under the name John Morgan. In the early 1970s he also recorded a single for British RCA.
