Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, actress, and multi-instrumentalist Andrea "Dre" Babinski operates under the Steady Holiday name, weaving moody late-night synth tones with intricately crafted indie pop. Previously a member of Miracle Days and Dusty Rhodes and the River Band, she earned critical acclaim for her 2016 debut Under the Influence and continued sharpening her sound on later releases alongside producer Gus Seyffert, known for his work with Beck, Roger Waters, and Dr. Dog.

Once the duo Miracle Days, formed with guitarist Edson Choi, came to an end, Babinski spent roughly two years as a session player, touring with Hunter Hunted while taking on scattered musical and acting jobs. By 2015 she had started writing material for a solo outlet she called Steady Holiday. Working again with Seyffert, she released the first single, "Your Version of Me," late that year, unveiling Steady Holiday’s literate and dark-hued dream pop approach. Additional singles followed before the April 2016 arrival of Under the Influence on Brooklyn indie Infinite Best Recordings. After assembling a live band, Steady Holiday secured a featured slot at that year’s Coachella Festival. She returned in 2017 with the EP Terror, whose lead track paired lush orchestrations with a slightly menacing tone. Reuniting with Seyffert, she recorded the follow-up LP Nobody’s Watching, issued by the Barsuk label in August 2018.
