Storyteller

In 1970 the British folk quintet featuring vocalists Caroline Attard, Terry Durham and Mike Rogers together with bassist and vocalist Rodney Clark plus guitarist and vocalist Roger Moon issued its first LP. Former Herd members Peter Frampton and Andy Bown served as producers, and Bown sustained his connection by supplying songs and performing as an occasional participant. Mike Rogers departed in favor of Chris Belshaw ahead of the follow-up LP Empty Pages. Another Herd alumnus, drummer Henry Spinetti, played on that promising record, yet Storyteller disbanded shortly after finishing it. Attard, previously one half of the pop duo the Other Two, later joined Belshaw on Bown’s Sweet William collection. The group should not be mistaken for the Swedish heavy metal act sharing its name.
