Biography
In September 1995, Super XX Man originated in Pullman, Washington, as a solitary home-recording endeavor. Equipped solely with an acoustic guitar, ukulele, keyboard, and four-track recorder, the project later generated multiple demos shaped by the country and folk sounds encountered during his formative years. Following a 1996 relocation to Austin, Texas, Peek-A-Boo Records issued the initial seven-inch release, Volume III, in 1997. After independently issuing the first two volumes on CD in 1999, Peek-A-Boo then delivered Super XX Man's debut full-length album, Volume IV, in 2000.
