Tamer Hosny

Since the late 1990s, Egyptian pop singer and actor Tamer Hosny, whose surname is occasionally rendered Hosni, has maintained an active career in entertainment. EMI issued his initial album targeting listeners outside Egypt, titled Hob, during 2004. In his native country he ranks among the leading pop figures, with credits that include television and film roles plus ongoing work as a songwriter and producer for fellow performers.
