Biography
Hailing from France, Aikiu specializes in the sounds of 1980s new wave fused with electronic pop. The project centers on Alex Aikiu, who handles lead vocals and songwriting duties, with the rest of the lineup consisting of Julien Vichnievsky on keyboards, Nuno Cordeiro on guitar, Barnabé Nuytten on bass, and Tatiana Mladenovitch on drums. The band issued its first album, Ghost Youth, in 2013.
