Biography
The Belgian duo the Black Box Revelation fuses '60s British Invasion pop with gritty garage blues-rock. Vocalist/guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck first connected through school jams. A runner-up placement at the 2006 Humo's Rock Rally contest secured them European support dates alongside Iggy Pop, dEUS, and the Raveonettes. Triggerfinger drummer Mario Goossens produced both their 2007 debut Set Your Head on Fire and its 2010 follow-up Silver Threats, which quickly positioned the pair among Belgium's strongest live draws. U.S. dates opening for Beady Eye and Jane's Addiction preceded the 2011 arrival of My Perception.
