Biography
Guitarist Brent J. Cooper, previously known through his work with Huevos Rancheros, reportedly launched the Ramblin' Ambassadors after accepting a challenge. When a booking agent sought a suitable group, he turned to Cooper with a request to assemble one. Cooper brought bassist Scott Nickless into the project and promptly started composing material. Several drummers rotated through early rehearsals, among them David Alcock of Chixdiggit, who later produced and recorded the album Avanti. Stability arrived once Tyler Pickering joined on drums, allowing the band to perform live shows and lay down nine tracks. Those sessions yielded the 2003 release Avanti, issued by Vancouver's Mint Records.
