Biography
The Sax Pack, a smooth jazz supergroup, unites saxophonists Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters, and Steve Cole. Around 2003 Kashiwa, motivated by the example of Frank Sinatra's storied Rat Pack, brought the musicians together. What began strictly as a touring unit later yielded a debut self-titled album issued by Shanachie in 2008. The Pack Is Back! appeared the following year. In 2015 the trio delivered its third full-length recording, aptly titled The Power of 3.
