Biography
Three Bad Jacks, the rockabilly trio based in Los Angeles, takes its direction from guitarist and singer Elvis Suissa. His control over the group’s first album, Made of Stone, is clear from the fourteen tracks he wrote out of its sixteen total songs, as well as from his solitary appearance on the cover art. Released in 1999, the record brought in outside players including Jerry Shef, the bassist who worked with Elvis Presley throughout the sixties and seventies, and Skip Edwards, the pedal steel guitarist and pianist associated with Johnny Rivers.
