Truly

Truly originated in 1990 when three veterans of the Seattle grunge scene—Soundgarden bassist Hiro Yamamoto, Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel, and vocalist/guitarist Robert Roth, formerly of the Storybook Krooks—formed the band. Their initial concert took place that October in Seattle, where they opened for the Jesus Lizard, and the following year they cut the EP Heart and Lungs for Sub Pop. The imprint later released two additional albums by Truly.
