Louisiana R&B vocalist Tucka draws equally from the smooth stylings of R. Kelly and Barry White, allowing him to craft intimate “pillow talk” material that echoes the ’70s, the ’80s, and the 2010s alike. His professional path began in 2007 when he served as lead singer for Keith Frank & the Soileau Zydeco Band. The following year he launched his solo work and adopted the moniker “the King of Swing.” Regional popularity quickly followed, leading to opening slots on Louisiana dates for Mystikal and Lenny Williams. In 2009 he issued the album Love Rehab, which included the tracks “Sex on My Mind” and “MySpace Love.” Forever King arrived in 2011, and Love Rehab 2 appeared four years later.
