Unified Highway

Unified Highway emerged from a partnership linking Eric Rachmany, a singer and guitarist based in San Francisco, with Amp Live, the producer and DJ operating out of Los Angeles. Before their partnership, Rachmany had fronted the well-known reggae outfit Rebelution, whereas Amp Live belonged to the hip-hop pair Zion I and had also established himself as a solo performer and remixer. Starting in 2014, the duo laid down tracks that blended reggae with soul, hip-hop, R&B, and pop. Guest appearances on their inaugural full-length project came from folk-pop vocalist Shana Halligan, reggae performer Tahir Panton, and dancehall artist Keznamdi. The resulting self-titled record came out on Audible Collision during March 2016.
