Biography
Formed in 2015, Venom Inc. stands as a seasoned and punishing heavy metal trio drawn from ex-members of the British black metal pioneers Venom. The lineup took shape when Jeff "Mantas" Dunn and Tony "Demolition" Dolan of Mpire of Evil shared a stage at that year's Keep It True Festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany, alongside Anthony "Abaddon" Bray for an impromptu run-through of Venom classics. Billing themselves Venom Inc.—distinct from the original act, under which longtime vocalist/bassist Conrad Lant (aka Cronos) continues to record—the reunion's strong reception encouraged the three musicians to enter the studio as a unit. Two years afterward they signed with Nuclear Blast, yielding the 2017 album Avé. Bray exited in 2018 and was succeeded by Jeramie "Warmachine" Kling (Massacre, the Absence), whose first studio appearance with the group arrived on the uncompromising sophomore release There's Only Black in 2022.
