Biography
Formed by Sony BMG in the mold of Angelis, Vox Angeli assembled six French children aged ten to thirteen into a classical crossover ensemble. Its members were Louis-Alexander Désiré, Etienne Girardin, Iris Lambert, Claire Conruyt, Mathis de Ruyver, and Lola Béris. The self-titled debut album Vox Angeli arrived in 2008 and registered major commercial success, climbing to number two on the French albums chart, number four in Belgium, and number 29 in Switzerland. Although consumers responded warmly, critical reaction remained cooler, and the project ended in 2010 with the release of its fourth album, Irlande.
