Wretched

Formed in 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina under the original name And Since Forgotten, Wretched functions as a technical death metal band. Guitarist Steven Funderburk and drummer Marshall Wieczorek founded the group, which drew the attention of Victory Records and earned a signing in 2008. Their devastating debut, The Exodus of Autonomy, arrived in 2009, with the second album, Beyond the Gate, appearing the following year. Lineup instability kept the band in a constant state of flux throughout this period, though a stable configuration emerged by 2011 that included Funderburk and Wieczorek alongside singer Adam Cody, guitarist Joel Moore, and bassist Andrew Grevey. Son of Perdition, their third album, arrived in 2012 and gained support from touring on the Metal Alliance Tour with acts such as 3 Inches of Blood and DevilDriver. Wretched’s fourth album, Cannibal, appeared in 2014.
