Biography
Xray Eyeballs, a Brooklyn-based indie rock group, craft lo-fi yet infectious tunes that lean into new wave and 1980s noise pop. Fronting the project is lead singer and songwriter O.J. San Felipe, whose vision shapes the band’s direction. Born in San Francisco, San Felipe settled in Brooklyn in 2000 after performing with the garage rock outfit Golden Triangle, an experience that preceded the launch of Xray Eyeballs. Completing the roster are Golden Triangle alumni Carly Rabalais on bass and Jay High on guitar, plus keyboardist Rop Vasquez and drummer Allison Press. The band issued its debut album, Not Nothing, through Kanine Records in 2011.
