Biography
Emerging from Chicago, the three youthful musicians in Yoko and the Oh No's fuse a high-energy throwback rock style that mixes pointed garage elements with classic soul influences. Having previously collaborated under the name the New Originals, vocalist Max Goldstein, guitarist Max Loebman, and drummer Stef Roti reformed as the Oh No's, issuing their independently distributed, eponymous first album in the first months of 2014. The magnetic stage presence of frontman Goldstein, combined with the group's dynamic performances and polished release, secured a contract from Autumn Tone Records, resulting in the 2015 re-release of their debut effort.
