Biography
In 2014 Alecia Beth Moore—better known to audiences as the singer, songwriter and actress whose exclamation-mark-accented, rose-hued stage identity is P!nk—teamed with Canadian performer Dallas Green, who works under the name City and Colour, to launch the indie-folk duo You+Me. Their sound fuses country-tinged textures with the atmospheric, woodland folk of Fleet Foxes and the yearning, southern-gothic ache of the Civil Wars. The pair’s opening single, “You and Me,” surfaced that September; one month later RCA issued their debut album, Rose Ave.
