Biography
Several years of joint touring led Earlimart and Grandaddy members to merge their efforts in 2009. Jason Lytle, Aaron Burtch, Aaron Espinoza, and Ariana Murray christened the new endeavor “Admiral Radley,” an anagram of the two source bands, and promptly assembled a collection of nuanced, melodic indie rock. One year later Espinoza’s own imprint The Ship released I Heart California, after which Admiral Radley toured extensively throughout the summer in support of the album.
