Alexis

Alexis concentrated on a breezy strain of adult-oriented rock that featured an unusually prominent brass section, but their lone MCA Records release from 1977 never found its footing. Echoing the softer passages of Toto, Chicago, and Maxus, the material earned neither commercial traction nor critical regard despite being helmed by veteran producer Ron Nevison. Vocalist and keyboardist Eddie Ulibarri later built a respectable career as a session player, whereas drummer Randy Reeder, bassist Larry Braden, saxophonist and synthesizer player Dave Peters, guitarist Robbie Fallberg, and keyboardist-vocalist Dick Walker failed to surface again.
