An English multi-instrumentalist and producer who gained early notice in the mid-1990s Brit-pop era through his well-received DJ performances during Blur's Parklife tour, Andy Lewis serves as bassist for Paul Weller while pursuing a successful solo career and participating in the groups Pimlico, the Red Inspectors, and Spearmint. His first solo album, Billion Pound Project, came out in 2005 on Acid Jazz Records, with You Should Be Hearing Something Now! appearing two years later on the same imprint. The 2011 mini-album titled 41 preceded three digital offerings in 2014—Songs for a South Herts Symphony, Bassetlaw, and Get Ready!, the last of these attributed to Lewis, Doyle & Twyman. During 2017 he collaborated with veteran British folk singer Judy Dyble, known for her work with Fairport Convention, Trader Horne, and Giles, Giles and Fripp, resulting in the pastoral folk-pop album Summer Dancing.
