Biography
Dark, dour, cold, and hilarious in the manner of Daniel Tosh minus the smirk, comedian Anthony Jeselnik entered the world in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following his graduation from Tulane University, he relocated first to Los Angeles and later established himself in New York, where he became a fixture on the Greenwich Village comedy circuit. Comedy Central designated him one of its breakout comedians in 2009, a distinction he confirmed the next year through the release of his debut album Shakespeare. Beginning in 2011 he started appearing regularly on the network’s Comedy Central Roast series, delivering barbs at Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen that same year before turning his attention to Rosanne Barr in 2012. Comedy Central broadcast his television special Caligula in 2013, with audio and video versions issued shortly afterward.
