Kyle Kinane

Kyle Kinane strides onstage projecting a rough exterior and the defiant edge of a heavy drinker, only to disarm first-time audiences with his sharply honed stand-up material. A Chicago native, he first tested comedy at Columbia College, shaped by the casual assurance of Mitch Hedberg and Patton Oswalt. In 2003 he relocated to Los Angeles to build his career, earning spots by 2007 at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival and on Last Call with Carson Daly. Death of the Party, his debut album, appeared in 2010 on the Aspecialthing label; the following year he headlined an installment of Comedy Central Presents. Teaming with Bob Odenkirk, Zach Galifianakis, and fellow writers in 2012, he helped shape the animated Comedy Central series Triptank. Whiskey Icarus, his second album, surfaced in 2013 through the network’s own imprint.
