Rylee Anuheake'alaokalokelani Jenkins, known professionally as Anuhea Jenkins, came into the world on December 10, 1985, in Maui and later established herself as a Hawaiian contemporary singer/songwriter whose relaxed island approach led to a recording debut in 2009. Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, India.Arie, and Jason Mraz rank among the main influences she has named. That year she released the album Anuhea through One Hawaii Music; the project featured the song "Right Love, Wrong Time" and reached number two on Billboard's World Albums chart while also appearing on the Heatseekers and independent albums listings. For Love followed on the day before Valentine's Day 2012, and Butterflies: Live appeared on Mailboat Records in 2013, where it attained a top three ranking on the reggae albums chart. She returned to the World Albums chart in 2016 with the Shoulders EP before issuing the full-length Follow Me in 2017 as her first release for Universal Music.
