Biography
Backtrack, a punishing American hardcore unit based out of Long Island, New York, fuses classic N.Y.C. punk with hard-hitting metal in a lethal blend that invokes Madball, Kill Your Idols, and Raw Deal. The group formed in 2013 and issued a well-received demo and EP before unveiling its full-length debut, Darker Half, on Reaper Records that same year. Festival appearances and globe-trotting tours soon followed, placing the band onstage with fellow decibel-pushers such as Comeback Kid, Terror, and Cold World. Bridge 9 Records signed them in 2014, prompting the sophomore long-player Lost in life, which was followed by Bad to My World in 2017.
