Biography
Formed in 2010, the Danish hard rock and heavy metal outfit Forever Still fused the frosty, film-like goth-rock of Evanescence with the abrasive force of Halestorm, guided from the outset by commanding vocalist Maja Shining and multi-instrumentalist Mikkel Haastrup.
Rooted in Copenhagen, the ensemble rotated through several lineups before settling on a stable quartet that included Shining, Haastrup, Dennis Stockmarr, and Maja Partsch. Three well-received EPs—Breaking Free, Scars, and Save Me—preceded the 2016 arrival of their first full-length album, Tied Down. That year also brought a worldwide agreement with Nuclear Blast, followed by a run of shows supporting Lacuna Coil. Their second studio album, Breathe in Colours, surfaced in 2019.
