Krypteria

Krypteria originated at the dawn of the 2000s when guitarist Chris Siemons, bassist Frank Stumvoll, and drummer S.C. Kuschnerus assembled the group initially as a studio endeavor tied to musical theater, employing various vocalists on different tracks. Ji-In Cho contributed to one such recording, providing vocals for the song "Liberatio" featured on the 2003 release Krypteria. A German television network subsequently selected that track for a charitable effort supporting those affected by hurricanes, prompting the three instrumentalists to integrate Cho into the lineup on a permanent basis. The quartet issued their first complete album, In Medias Res, during 2005, after which they embarked on extensive tours and followed up with Bloodangel's Cry in 2007.
