Biography
Scandinavian pop singer Bertine Zetlitz gained recognition across Europe for her brand of disco-tinged dance-pop that carries a subtly dark and ironic tone. Music occupied her attention from childhood onward, leading her to start composing songs shortly before entering her teenage years, after which she pursued formal studies in classical music during college. Upon completing her degree she turned toward a pop career, issuing her first album Morbid Late Night Show in 1998. Her next release, Beautiful So Far, arrived in 2000 and carried production credits from the Cardigans’ noted collaborator Tore Johansson. Additional albums followed in the ensuing years, among them Rollerskating in 2004, My Italian Greyhound in 2006, and Electric Feet in 2012. Her seventh studio effort, Tikamp, surfaced in 2015 and merged her longstanding interests in electro and acoustic pop styles. The album contained the single “Sett At Vi Sier Det Sånn,” which included a guest appearance by Prepple Houmb of the Dum Dum Boys.
