Bobby Bazini, a Canadian singer and songwriter, achieved a Top Ten placement on the charts with his debut full-length album Better in Time when it appeared in 2010. He was born in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, Canada, and spent his early years in a rural environment surrounded by relatives who held a strong affection for country music. Drawing inspiration from Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan alongside Otis Redding and Ray Charles, he draws frequent comparisons to Paolo Nutini. His first commercial recording arrived in 2009 through the single “I Wonder,” which found success on both French- and English-language stations across Quebec. A five-track EP that included “I Wonder” and its follow-up “One Thing or Two” reached digital platforms in November 2009. Several months afterward he issued his first full-length album, Better in Time (2010), via Mungo Park Records. Every track on the release was written by the 20-year-old wunderkind, and the album secured a Top Ten position on the Canadian albums chart. Warner Music subsequently distributed it throughout Europe, where it registered on the charts in France and Switzerland.
