Bonez MC

Born in Hamburg in 1985, hardcore rapper Bonez MC heads the German hip-hop imprint Toprott Muzik, belongs to the 187 Strassenbande crew, and maintains an active solo career. His first recorded appearance arrived on the collective’s 187 Mixtape in 2006, after which the solo debut Mehr Geht Nicht surfaced in 2008 on Jentown Crhyme Records. The same label issued 187 Strassenbande der Sampler in 2009, and Bonez inaugurated his Toprott Muzik imprint in 2011 with 187 Strassenbande der Sampler 2.

He resumed solo activity in 2012 by releasing Krampfhaft Kriminell on Toprott. Two joint albums with Gzuz followed: High & Hungrig in 2014, which entered the German Top Ten, and High & Hungrig 2 in 2016, which became his first number-one album in the country. Only months later he returned to the summit with Palmen aus Plastik, recorded alongside RAF Camora.
