Millions of plays accumulated on his initial extended play Vanity, propelled by sparse compositions such as “Give Me a Sign” and “I’d Rather Pretend.”

Originating from Cypress, Texas, situated near Houston, Barnes developed an early passion for music. He pursued studies in piano and cello throughout his teenage years, all while gaining recognition in basketball until an ACL injury abruptly concluded those aspirations. Following his high school graduation in 2021, he began performing on public pianos to offer comfort through music and shared recordings online.
