Biography
Bugz in the Attic operates as a premier West London collective of DJs and producers devoted to broken beat, encompassing core contributors such as Afronaught, Seiji, Daz-I-Kue, Kaidi Tatham, Mark Force, and Alex Phountzi along with additional associates. Across solo efforts, joint ventures, and an array of side projects and limited releases, these individuals have figured prominently in the majority—likely exceeding half—of all recordings falling under the broken beat banner. The crew has also maintained the Co-Op club night and operated the Bitasweet imprint, a platform that has documented several of their key pursuits, among them the Phuturistic Dancin' anthologies, Seiji's Remixes compilation, and Dego McFarlane's Cousin Cockroach output. Their entry in the Fabriclive mix series arrived in late 2003.
