Camber

Formed in New York during the mid-1990s, Camber came together as an aggressive yet melodic indie rock band signed to the Deep Elm label. Vocalist and guitarist Barry Lott joined forces with drummer Chris Chin, guitarist Corby Caldwell, and bassist Joey DellaCroce to establish the quartet. Their first album, Beautiful Charade, arrived in 1997. Two years of work yielded the follow-up record Anyway, I've Been There, which surfaced in 1999. John Agnello, whose résumé includes Burning Airlines, Chavez, and Dinosaur Jr., handled production duties on this release just as he had on the debut. Drummer Chin exited in 2001 and was succeeded by Roger Coletti, after which the band released Wake Up and Be Happy the next year.
