Biography
Circle Pit originated as a crude rock duo when Angela Bermuda and Jack Mannix came together in Sydney, Australia, during 2007. The pair’s first full-length effort, Bruise Constellation, captured guitar, drums, and vocals in the red while incorporating sleazy, street-smart lyrics. Philadelphia’s Siltbreeze Records found an ideal match in that raw aesthetic, prompting the duo to sign on for an American release in 2010. Following that arrangement, Circle Pit prepared to expand into a five-piece configuration for an upcoming tour alongside Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Pink Reason.
