Biography
Emerging from Cincinnati, Ohio in 1984 alongside the more established heavy metal band Chastain, the quartet CJSS was assembled by guitarist David T. Chastain together with vocalist Russell Jinkens, bassist Mike Skimmerhorn and drummer Les Sharp. Two years afterward the group issued a pair of albums, World gone Mad (January '86) and Praise the Loud (October). Chastain’s mounting commitment to his other, more successful project soon eroded his interest in CJSS, which avoided an official breakup yet never issued further material apart from a couple of best of retrospectives.
