Biography
Distinguishing Warlord from an unrelated 1980s thrash and speed-metal act that used the identical name, the project first emerged when Roadside Monument bassist Jonathon Ford formed it as a side endeavor that delivered a self-titled EP in 1997. After Ford elected to devote himself entirely to his main band, the lineup was rebuilt around guitarist/vocalist Ricky, bassist Phil, and drummer Tim, leading to the 1999 release of the album Rock the Foe Hammer.
