Biography
Danniebelle Hall earned recognition as a gospel singer and songwriter through her prominent vocal contributions to multiple 1970s successes by Andrae Crouch & the Disciples, among them "Soon and Very Soon," "Take Me Back," "Tell Them," and "Quiet Times." She also wrote material later interpreted by established performers such as Eartha Kitt, Pat Boone, and James Cleveland. In addition, Hall assembled the Danniebelles, a gospel quartet active in the San Francisco region, while serving in ministry at numerous churches and releasing two solo albums during the 1990s: Designer's Original in 1992 and The Best Gets Better in 1995. Hall died on December 28, 2000, near San Jose, California.
