Biography
Formed in the wake of four friends first connecting in Southampton during 2013, London-based hard rock band Dead! features vocalist/guitarist Alex Mountford, guitarists Sam and Louis Matlock, and bass guitarist Sam Chappell. The group quickly began sharing a home and launched into live performances across the local circuit plus venues in London and the South East, working from just a handful of original compositions. Their opening single, "The Damned Restless Future," built a devoted audience, and after issuing multiple independent tracks the outfit secured deals with Infectious Music/BMG in the U.K. and Rise Records in the U.S. during 2016. The Golden Age of Not Even Trying, their first full-length release, arrived in February 2018.
