Djustin

Djustin forms a trans-Atlantic duo that unites Johan Angergård—the Swedish mastermind of Acid House Kings and the Legends—with Detroit-area vocalist Rose Suau of Invisible Twin. Their collaboration yields icy, intensely atmospheric synth pop deeply shaped by the 1970s and 1980s recordings of Giorgio Moroder, Kraftwerk, and Vangelis. The pair first connected online during the 1990s and exchanged messages for several years, discussing mutual musical preferences alongside assorted band endeavors. Suau later contributed to multiple remixes for Angergård, prompting the two to develop plans for a shared project. In 2015 Angergård started forwarding instrumental tracks to Suau for her vocal overdubs. Two years afterward Djustin issued their debut full-length album Voyagers, which spotlighted the singles "New Preset" and "Dancing."
