Biography
Don Cavalli, born in France, participated in multiple rockabilly and country ensembles such as the Blue Cats and the Two Timers beginning in the 1980s. His impassioned vocals, which blended the styles of Johnny Cash and Charlie Feathers, earned respect from a niche yet loyal audience, and he issued the solo album Odd and Mystic in 2002. Wider attention from the broader music and blog community arrived only after he signed with Los Angeles's Everloving Records. Cryland, his full-length release that fused swamp blues, lo-fi pop, country gospel, and early rock & roll, appeared on CD in March 2008, with the vinyl edition following in April.
