Dreamhouse

The British dance group Dreamhouse, consisting of Paul Barry, David Riley, and Jules Tulley, first connected when two members held temporary positions serving drinks and cleaning buses. Riley, originally from Jamaica and already an established remixer with credits including R. Kelly and Fu Schnickens, encountered the remaining pair during a session at a London studio. An unplanned rendition of Maurice Williams' classic pop song "Stay" prompted the three to form a complete ensemble, and they subsequently issued that track as their initial single. Their version of the song led Trauma Records to offer a contract, resulting in the July 1998 launch of the group's debut album under their own name.
