An American ensemble assembled from performers in the Fox network series The Heights, an Aaron Spelling creation that lasted twelve episodes across 1992. The program traced the efforts of restless teenagers who hoped to escape ordinary routines through a career in rock music. Its actual lineup comprised Jamie Walters (b. 13 June 1969, Boston, Massachusetts, USA; vocals), Alex Désert (b. 18 July 1968; guitar), Cheryl Pollak (saxophone), Charlotte Ross (b. 21 January 1968, USA; guitar), Zackary Thorne (keyboards), Tasia Valenza (b. 5 April 1967, New York City, New York, USA; vocals), Shawn Thompson (guitar/vocals), and Ken Garito (drums). One track taken from the show, ‘How Do You Talk To An Angel’, topped the US mainstream charts in November 1992. The hit arrived too late, however, since the network had already cancelled the series a week earlier, leaving one episode unaired.
