Oceana

German vocalist Oceana, whose sound fuses reggae with R&B, hip-hop, and pop elements, first gained international attention in 2012 after "Endless Summer" was chosen to serve as the official anthem for that year's UEFA European Football Championship. Having been born Oceana Mahlmann in the vicinity of Hamburg, she scored her initial success with the 2009 release "Cry Cry," which achieved moderate recognition domestically in Germany yet reached the summit of the charts in Hungary. Also in 2009, her inaugural full-length effort Love Supply appeared via the Epic imprint. The track "Endless Summer" went on to function as the theme song for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, an event hosted across Poland and Ukraine, and it surfaced in both dance-pop and reggae versions.
