Dynamite Deluxe

Dynamite Deluxe formed as a German hip-hop trio whose initial run spanned 1997 to 2000. The group’s debut outing arrived that same year in the form of an eight-track mixtape called Dynamite Deluxe Demo. Over the ensuing three years the members issued several additional EPs and singles, among them Deluxe Stylee in 1997, The Classic Vinyl Files in 1999, and the 2000 track “Wie Jetzt.” Their first full-length project, Deluxe Soundsystem, surfaced in 2000, yet the same year Samy Deluxe announced his departure and the trio disbanded. The three musicians nevertheless continued to collaborate on separate ventures until December 2007, when Samy, Tropf, and DJ Dynamite reunited for a live MTV appearance. The single “Dynamit!” followed in January 2008, and the album TNT reached stores on January 25 of that year.
